Beach Vacation

We finally made it to the beach this summer! As fast as the summer has been going, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to squeeze it in! But we went for a few days last week and had a great time.

We like going to Virginia beach because it is the closest beach to where we live. This time we stayed on the Chesapeak Bay. It only took 5 minutes to get to Virginia Beach. It was much more affordable and a very nice suite. Enjoy some of the pictures from the trip.

It was around 100 degrees the whole time we were at the beach. So we stayed in the water, either the pool or ocean, basically the entire time! (except when it stormed one afternoon)

Jumping waves was so fun this time because we could all do it together. Caleb would go up to his waste, and we would be on our knees. Alisia and Caleb loved the waves going over their head and washing them out. They had a lot of fun riding the waves in on the boogie boards.
