"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
Psalm 19:1
On Monday, the kids had a snow day. It was COLD! The kids didn't even want to go play in the snow because our house was so cold, they wouldn't have been able to warm up. So they just snuggled up to a movie under a pile of blankets. We decided to have our oil tank refilled. As soon as the oil kicked on, they took Candy Land in the bathroom since it is the smallest room, it heats up very quickly. We woke up Saturday morning to beautiful weather and everyone was up and outside by 8:30 am. Angel and Caleb went to clean my car out while Alisia and I made breakfast. It was so beautiful!!
Some of the action:
We weren't the only ones enjoying this weather:

These two are not like this all the time, but when they are, I LOVE IT!

We found some snow melting away from earlier in the week:

Any bright ideas?
We threw them at Papi!
Favorite shot of the day:
We also hung out with some kids from church and climbed their tree house!
Getting up to the tree house:
Hanging out:
Getting down safely:
Thanking God for a time of rest and renewal. He knew that we needed a day of rest. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
"By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work."

Caleb is looking so much more grown up in those pics.
It looked like it was a fun time hangin out on the golf course.
I've tried to golf with my hubby, but i am so terrible at it, that i usually start to feel terrible about myself.
He LOVES to play. I will just stay home...
that looks like so much fun. I grew up in Canada and sometimes I miss the snow, but then I'm grateful for the heat. I complain when it's 50 degrees now. I guess I've made the transition to Californian ;D
Love the golf course pictures!!! We are a golfing family...and I can't wait until the weather cooperates here so that we can get back on the course. It's where we spend our summers. Golf and baseball. I took up golf a couple years ago ( you know...if you can't beat 'em, join 'em...well I certainly can't beat 'em!). I am not great at it, but I'm determined...and I have some cute pink golf clubs. It's a great family sport...and we have enjoyed some good times on the golf course. Plus...it's a spectacular way to enjoy God's beautiful creation.
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog.
Blessings to you,
Kelly

cute preggo pic with your hubby! And I definitely have a picture of me on my follow-through swing of the golf club, with the ball still sitting on the ground. That was when I went golfing with Johnny's family, who has golfed forever. Embarrassing!!!
